RESORT CHICKEN COOP AND RUN. Limited production for winter!

We live at the Oregon Coast, so a lot of wet weather and some harsh elements, so I wanted to wait a few months before reviewing.
We received and set up our Resort coop from Urban Northern Coops in September. They do say it is pre-sealed, however given our climate I decided to go over it with Thompsons water seal. So far it's stayed dry.
Shipping was quick and assembly was easy in my opinion. Lay everything out before you get going and follow the step by step directions, you should be good to go.
My hens were about 12 weeks when I put them in the coop and have been laying eggs in the nesting boxes, originally I was thinking of moving the roosts up, so far that hasn't seemed to pose a problem.
If you are looking for a quick easy set up and not wanting to spend the time and money to build yourself this is the way to go.

I am so happy I found the Resort coop from Urban Northern. Company is very responsive, which is nice, you are talking to small business owners and they are very helpful.
It shipped very quickly and they provided tracking through UPS. I liked knowing when it was set to arrive.
It was quite simple to put together. Took my husband an afternoon.
I love the ease of cleaning it, the ramp seems just right for the hens they haven't struggled going up at all. And they are perching on the roosting bars.
Very satisfied and better than other competitors I checked out.

Product arrived and functions as advertised with no broken parts.
Assembly was straight forward. My daughter and I assembled it together in an evening.
I did apply flex seal to this prior to putting the hens in, it may not be needed but gave me peace of mind that I had sealed it up and it wouldn't need attention for a good while.
I have 8 plymouth barred rock hens, they are happily already laying eggs in their new coop.

My hens are happy to have a safe new home. I'm happy because it arrived quickly and was easy to get it set up. And my husband is happy to not have to hear about me nagging him to build me one anymore. I'm impressed with Urban Norther's Resort coop, I was nervous to order a boxed coop, but it's sturdy and looks great too.

Original purchase was the Kona Coop 3 years ago, which is still going strong, even through my Colorado weather. That has now moved to a brooder. I expanded my flock and decided to go big with the Resort. I have added a larger run to encompass both coops. Shipping is always fast, as well as response time from the company. Coops are sturdy when assembled. I do recommend if you are in wet weather you take the time to properly reseal your coops yearly.
